Rolls-Royce confirms a single, full electric Phantom to debut in Geneva

Hmmm, even the well-heeled heels of Rolls-Royce seems to be plugged in to this electric vehicle thing. RR announced in a press release it will show off a one-off full electric RR Phantom or the 102EX. In true auto parlance, it will be considered a technological test bed used to gauge reaction and real-time data of alternative drivetrains during its time on tour

Rolls Royce sells over 1,000 cars for 2009; North America is largest market

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced it retailed 1,002 cars for 2009, including 150 Ghosts to customers in December 2009. Demand for the Ghost has been exceptional and the latest Rolls-Royce has been met with universal acclaim from customers, the media and enthusiasts alike. Around 85 per cent of Ghost customers are new to the marque. More than a third of the sales totals were for Phantom models
