City of Toledo, Ohio issues parking tickets to drivers parked in their own driveways

Toledo, Ohio Mayor Carty Finkbeiner, who is already up for a recall vote, defended the ticketing of several cars over the past week who were parked in their owners driveway. How can they do that? They just found an old law prohibiting drivers from parking on “unpaved” surfaces.. and technically gravel is unpaved.

A 75-year old Maple tree came crashing down Monday in the middle of Broadway Street in Boulder, Colorado. Nothing unusual until you consider it fell on not one, but two, Prius. We even have video of the aftermath.

Mini introduces “perpetual motion” magnetic propulsion system…yes it’s a joke

Mini attempted some April Fool’s fun of their own today- sending off a press release to the media announcing that they had invented a “perpetual motion” magnetic propulsion drive system. The “system” would “extend the range of its MINI E to several hundred, possibly even thousands of miles, on a single overnight charge of electricity.” Oh, those guys in New Jersey are hilarious!
