Here it is: 2014 Cadillac CTS photos leak before NYIAS
Someone with advanced access to photographs of the 2014 CTS has let the cat out of the bag. Pictures of the redesigned Cadillac leaked onto the internet Sunday.
The images, shot with a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III first appeared on Flickr on March 24th, 2013 and appear to have been shot between February 4th and March 10th. Considering that most recent GM photographs are shot with a Mark III , the shots appear to be genuine.
Where the shots came from is anyone’s guess. AutoBlog and GMInsideNews both initially thought that Cadillac had accidentally leaked the pictures but that now appears to be not true. The Flickr account where the photos are posted isn’t from Cadillac or any automaker.
All we know about the 2014 CTS (other than it appears to look outstandingly awesome), is that it will sport a 420-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6. From the few photos that were leaked, a strong resemblance to the ATS and XTS is seen.
The meta description attached to the photos only offers little information
“The all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS midsize luxury sedan will go sale in the fall, 2013. A longer, lower and more athletic-looking proportion is introduced on Cadillac’s landmark sedan and evolves the brand’s Art & Science design philosophy. The sense of flow over the CTS sedan is furthered, too, with a “trapped” hood design – surrounded completely by sheet metal – which eliminates the forward cut lines between the grille and headlamps.”
We’ll get the entire look at the 2014 CTS in just a few days time.
