Insane Giveaway: Prestone de-icer product package

Prestone was nice enough to send us over samples of their new de-icing product line.  While we pray for nasty weather to test them out with, the company is also letting us give away a free set to you.

AutoInsane Prestone De-Icer Giveaway

Runs January 23rd, 2009 to February 6th, 2009

The loot

A three pack of Prestone De-Icer Products
- Windshield De-Icer spray can with scraper: For quick and easy removal of frozen ice, frost, and snow
- A spray bottle of Ice & Frost Shield: “Night before” spray that keeps the frozen stuff from sticking to your windshield for easy removal in the morning
-De-Icer Wiper solution with dirt blocker: Add a bottle to your wiper solution reservoir to easily melt ice and remove dirt each time you spray.

How to enter
It’s really easy! Scroll down, make a comment, and share with us your icy windshield horror story.  We want to hear about the time that you really could have used this stuff!  Maybe you broke your wiper blades,  destroyed your ice scraper, or ruined your bank-card because you didn’t have anything else.

“The Winner” will be chosen at the editors discretion. The best horror story goes home with the goods!  Make sure to leave a valid email address when you post your comment because we’ll need to be in touch with you if you win.

This is not an official contest- just good fun.

Good luck!  Once the snow falls- we’ll have our own full product review of the new Prestone De-Icer lineup.

  1. Timothy Selig Says:

I was scapping my ice off the windshield as usual on a cold Wisconsin morning. I slipped on the ice, caught myself. I thought everything was OK, BUT. I looked at my wrist and the blood was rushing out. I ended up with 10 stitches. And the windshield still isn’t clean.
