The people over at autoblog.com got their hands on some very nice spy shots of the new upcoming Nissan 370z. With the 350z being out for about 6 years the people at Nissan have come to the decision that the car was needing a redesign. Not only will the entire exterior of the car undergo a new look but so will its name as they retire the 350 number and bump it up to 370.
The 370z will be featuring the boomerang headlights similar to that of the new Maxima redesign. Nissan Z enthusiast’s are hoping that the new and improved 370Z will weigh less than its older brother as well as being faster. The 370z will be featuring Nissans new 3.7L V6 which should have no problem in producing power in excess of 300hp. A couple things that we at Autoinsane would like to point out are a couple key design elements within the 370z. As you can see the rear quarter panel window has been changed to resemble more of the old Datsun Z shape which we think was a great idea for Nissan to kind of bring back that Z-history. Another thing to point out is the indentation around the center of the front bumpers grills. We feel this may be an indicator that this area will be painted black no matter what color trim you choose to carry on the theme seen on the Nissan GT-R’s front bumper. We can only wait to see what the final result is on how this car looks but from the looks of the spy shots it will definitely be a head turner.
